What We Do

Our 4 metre x 2 metre router is one of the largest in our industry, with the capacity to engineer the largest sheet available. We can operate simultaneously in three axes of motion to create three dimensional surfaces for moulds or finished products, as well as machine in two axes simultaneously to created shapes out of flat material. Processes rigid and semi-rigid materials with rotary cutting tools. We can also process solid aluminium sheets from the very lightest up to almost any thickness.

We have four Jorns Maxi-line folding machines, with a capacity of up to 3mm alum, 2mm m/s and 1.5mm Stainless steel over 4m in length, which in conjunction with our AXYZ CNC router have enabled us to improve tolerance to .1 of a millimetre, providing us with unrivalled accuracy. Jorns machinery has enabled us to increase capacity whilst improving tolerances and quality. With DSP’s latest Jorns Folder commissioned in September 2022 increasing our capacity and turnaround even further.

We have always kept a brake press as it has the advantage of having a very high capacity and can fold materials up to a thickness of 10mm aluminium, 6mm Stainless and 8mm mild steel. Allowing for split tooling as a box and pan folder.

We have both hydraulic and mechanical guillotines with capacities from the very lightest up to approximately 6mm in all materials, and up to 4m in length.

We have numerous welding plants both MIG and TIG.

With our in house powder coating plant, we can control lead times and quality that outsourcing simply does not offer. Our Spray booth and ovens allowing up to 6 metre long items to be powder coated.

Our 3 metre CNC rollers are a great addition to the workshop and allow us to produce bullnose details as well as column covers and an almost infinite amount of shapes up to 3m in length.

We also have a wide range of tools, saws, drills, plasma cutters and too many more to mention, that go hand in hand with a sheet metal fabrication plant.
